The holidays are here and all of the festivities are in full swing! Between shopping and wrapping what seems like an endless amount of gifts, there are dozens of events and parties. Whether it is your neighborhood Christmas block party, your office gift exchange or your mom’s annual New Year’s Eve party – you have a lot going on! Don’t let the stress of what to bring to these events ruin your excitement for them. We’ve put together a list of fun, festive and (best of all) simple dishes that are sure to impress!
Pings in a Wreath
You can never go wrong with mini hotdogs, especially if there will be kids at the party! Delish took this simple concept and created an adorable dish that is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. With the total cook time at only 35 minutes, this is also great if you’re in a hurry. Garnish the plate with rosemary like in the picture, or add an oversized bow to complete your wreath!

New Year’s Good Fortune
New Year’s Eve is all about glitter and good fortune – and these cookies have both! You can pick order the fortune cookies from retailers such as Walmart or Amazon (gotta love that 2-day shipping), the rest it us to you! Select your favorite flavor of icing or use any kind of chocolate to dip the cookies in. Lay the dipped cookies on a sheet of parchment paper and add all the glitter or sprinkles you’d like! Once they have dried, you can either organize them on a large plate, or package them together to hand out as fun party favors.

If you are REALLY in a pinch and short on time – this last idea is for you! All you need is a case of water and a color printer. Print out some “Melted Snow’ labels and tape them onto the water bottles. Add some fun designs or stickers to give them an extra festive touch. These are so fun and sure to get a lot of laughs at your next holiday party! You can either create your own or purchase pre-made ones from websites like Etsy!
